Phyllis Bankier - Garden Splendor
A flower garden is shades of color. In this exhibit, I look at flower portraits and how they are posed with other colors in the garden. Colors are everywhere; the garden showcases a stunning masterpiece. As I concentrate on the main subject, I adjust the background colors of the garden to be slightly out of focus. I use a macro lens observing and capturing the fine points of the flower with a low f/stop, allowing the flower portrait to be in the spotlight and the background not in focus. My photography is rooted in my deep love of seeing the beauty and sensuality nature has given us.
